Foraging for Food and Natural Medicines – Wed. May 13th

The Morgan County Preparedness Project (MCPP) Foraging for Food and Natural Medicines class will to be held on Wednesday, May 13th from 6:00 am – 8:00 pm at the Greenwood School Community Center, 8989 Winchester Grade Road, Berkeley Springs, WV 25411

Instructors Abby Porter and Joyce Morningstar will lead participants on an informative and educational walk to identify wild plants that may be found in your backyard that can be used for food or have healing properties.

Note: This will be an outdoor class that will consist of walking on uneven ground near wooded areas. It is recommended to come dressed for the weather and to wear long pants, socks and sturdy, close-toed shoes. The events will take place rain or shine (unless there is a thunderstorm).
